ABOUT THE ROLE
As the People and Culture Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the future success of our organisation. This role will proactively partner with our leadership, providing valuable coaching and advice to support strategic people initiatives.
This role reports to the General Manager and, additionally, works with the People and Culture Coordinator to provide day-to-day People and Culture generalist support, ensuring the high quality delivery of people related operations, projects and initiatives. Sound understanding of employment legislation, people related policy and employee relations is a must.
ABOUT YOU
To be a successful candidate for this role, you will have:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Management or similar
5+ Years proven experience developing and delivering People and Culture (HR) best practice
5+ Years proven experience in a generalist People and Culture (HR) role
Strong expertise in New Zealand employment law is essential, coupled with experience managing complex ER matters.
Additionally, we would prefer the candidate to:
Have experience in the Not-For-Profit Sector.
Have experience with a variety of People and Culture disciplines including remuneration reviews and performance appraisal processes.
Have experience in a Senior People and Culture (HR) Generalist position; team leader or leadership experience.
Be based in Wellington (preferred but not essential).
This role has flexibility around the final FTE (0.6-1.0FTE) but will be a permanent position.
