Our Whangarei Campus is looking for a Kids and Youth Team Leader to oversee our Whangarei ministries for ages 0–18, helping raise and release the next generation of disciples.
ABOUT THE ROLE
In this full-time role, you’ll lead both the Kids (0–12 years) and Youth (Years 7–13) ministries. You’ll lead the shaping of engaging Sunday experiences, midweek youth gatherings, and provide opportunities for young people to be discipled. A key focus of this role is developing volunteer leaders, building strong volunteer teams, and providing pastoral care that supports young people and their families.
ABOUT YOU
To be a successful candidate for this role, you will have:
Experience leading and developing volunteer teams
A background in working with children and/or youth in ministry or community settings
Strong communication, organisational, and time management skills
A heart for discipleship and pastoral care, with the ability to connect well with young people and families
Confidence in leading groups, both large and small
Additionally, we would prefer the candidate to:
Have a Diploma (or higher) in Christian Ministries, Theology, or a related field OR
Have a qualification that relates to working with children/young people.
This is a full-time role and is a permanent position based in Whangarei.

Are you passionate about raising up the next generation of Christian leaders? Arise is currently seeking a Head of the Arise Ministry Academy to lead and develop our Ministry Academy - a place where students are equipped, discipled, and released into their God-given callings.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As Head of the Arise Ministry Academy, you’ll carry the mandate to discover, develop, and deploy future ministers and leaders through the Academy (full-time) and Night School (part-time). This role goes beyond overseeing a programme – it’s about shaping a culture of spiritual growth, leadership formation, and ministry excellence.
You’ll provide inspirational leadership to both staff and students, pioneer pathways for life-changing learning experiences, and ensure that the Academy continues to thrive across all campuses. From overseeing academic and discipleship programmes, working with our academic partners, to pastoral care and student recruitment, you’ll play a central role in equipping men and women to strengthen and empower the Church locally and beyond.
