ABOUT THE ROLE
The Young Adults Team Leader oversees and leads the Young Adult age group for Dunedin. They are responsible for the leadership and discipleship of the Young Adults in the Dunedin Campus.
Additionally, this role collaborates with the wider campus team to see the success of Life Groups, the integration of new people and the pastoral care of our Young Adults. There is a special focus on university outreach – helping young adults who are new to our city, find a place to belong.

Are you a visionary creative leader who loves shaping environments, moments, and media that help people encounter God? ARISE Church is seeking a Head of Creative to champion our creative, worship, services, and production expression across the church.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You’ll provide strategic leadership for all creative functions and service environments church-wide—setting creative direction, overseeing brand consistency, and fostering innovation across design, film, social, production, and worship.
You’ll collaborate closely with the Lead Pastor and the creative team, oversee budgets and resources, and ensure projects land on time and to a high standard. You’ll also bring practical oversight to Sunday services, mid-week gatherings, and key events, equipping teams and volunteers to deliver with excellence.
KEY FOCUS AREAS:
Set and lead the ARISE-wide creative vision in alignment with our church mission and values.
Oversee design, art direction, film, social content, services, and production outputs.
Plan long-term creative strategy; keep the brand fresh, consistent, and impactful across all channels.
Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team (staff and volunteers); steward workflows and priorities.
Oversee major projects from concept to delivery; measure effectiveness and report on outcomes.
Ensure safe, healthy work practices and wellbeing across the team.
ABOUT YOU
We’re looking for someone who is:
A visionary, strategic leader and strong communicator who can pitch, present, and bring others with them.
An experienced team builder who develops staff and volunteers to flourish in their creative gifts.
Grounded in the craft: 5+ years in creative industries with 2+ years in a leadership/director role; a portfolio that demonstrates creative direction, brand leadership, and innovative execution.
Competent with industry-standard tools (Adobe Creative Suite) and production workflows across print, digital, and film; familiarity with emerging tech and trends. (Animation skills a plus)
Excellent with time management, detail, and cross-team collaboration.
WORK PATTERN AND REPORTS
Full-time, 40 hours per week, Sunday–Thursday. Reports to the Lead Pastor and leads 4 direct reports.
