This role will involve fostering growth in volunteer leaders and developing the core functions of this location as they grow into a campus.
ABOUT YOU
To be a successful candidate for this role, you will have:
- The ability to relate to people of every age, stage of life and background.
- Proven ability to build and lead volunteer teams, in a ministry context.
- The ability to pastorally care congregation members
- Key strengths in implementing discipleship tracks
Additionally, we would prefer the candidate to:
- A Diploma in Christian Ministry (or similar) or related field
This role has flexibility around the final FTE (0.6-1.0FTE) but will be a permanent position.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Youth and Young Adults Team Leader oversees and leads both the Youth (School Year 7-13) and Young Adult Age Group for the Hamilton Campus. They are responsible for seeing these age groups foster community and in turn, see individuals flourish in their Christian discipleship journey.
Additionally, this role collaborates with the wider campus team to see the success of age appropriate Life Groups, the integration of new people and the pastoral care of Youth and Young Adults. There is a special focus on university outreach – helping young adults who are new to our city, find a place to belong.
ABOUT YOU
To be a successful candidate for this role, you will have:
• Proven leadership ability – ideally experience in leading Youth and / or Young Adults
• The ability to minister spiritually
• The ability to relate to this age group
• A passion and vision to see our Youth and Young Adults Ministry thrive
Additionally, we would prefer the candidate to:
• Have a Diploma in Christian Ministry (or similar) or related field
This role is full time and a permanent position.

The Welcome and A Team Leader is responsible for empowering and developing our campus volunteer team leaders, to build their volunteer teams – seeing individuals serve in areas that bring life to them and the wider church community. The outworking of discipleship and strategies to grow our church members in the gifts God has placed on their life, is also a core function of this role.
ABOUT YOU
To be a successful candidate for this role, you will have:
• The ability to relate to people of every age, stage of life and background
• Proven ability to build and lead volunteer teams, in a ministry context
Additionally, we would prefer the candidate to:
• A Diploma in Christian Ministry (or similar) or related field (theology, music)
This role is 0.4FTE and Fixed Term till approximately end of July 2025 (Parental Leave Cover)
