Software developer ๐Ÿ’ป

Are you interested in working for a faith based organisation that through God's Word is working to make the world a better place, and genuinely cares about people?

Arise Church is looking for a Software Developer, reporting to the Head of IT, this person will be responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions that are secure and effective in connecting people with the church and aiding their faith journey.

If you would like to;
๐Ÿ’พ - Develop and maintain internal databases and app ecosystems.
๐Ÿ’พ - Contribute to website development and maintenance.
๐Ÿ’พ - Participate in development processes from requirement collection to delivery and deployment.
๐Ÿ’พ - Ensure robust documentation is developed and maintained for a reliable development process.
๐Ÿ’พ - Assist in creating resources for team integration of systems.
๐Ÿ’พ - Help direct the 3-year development roadmap.
๐Ÿ’พ - Maintain developed apps for security and functionality.
๐Ÿ’พ - Research and present cost-effective solutions for development challenges.
๐Ÿ’พ - Support IT-related queries and help upskill IT support staff.

and have;
- Graduate Degree in Software development or proven experience in the area of Software Development

Location Leader (Masterton)

Are you passionate about team building and empowering the local church? We are seeking a Location Leader for our Masterton Location to inspire and empower others to grow as disciples of Jesus, while making a positive impact on the community.

This role will involve fostering growth in volunteer leaders and developing the core functions of this location as they grow into a campus.

ABOUT YOU
To be a successful candidate for this role, you will have:
- The ability to relate to people of every age, stage of life and background.
- Proven ability to build and lead volunteer teams, in a ministry context.
- The ability to pastorally care congregation members
- Key strengths in implementing discipleship tracks

Additionally, we would prefer the candidate to:
- A Diploma in Christian Ministry (or similar) or related field

This role has flexibility around the final FTE (0.6-1.0FTE) but will be a permanent position.
