The conflict in Ukraine is causing immediate and long-lasting physical, emotional, and mental harms to children, families and communities. It has already claimed civilian lives and displaced children and their families, leaving millions in need of humanitarian assistance.
As a church, we are partnering with World Vision, who are currently distributing emergency aid packages to children and families crossing the border from Ukraine to Romania as a result of this conflict. They are also aiming to provide support to the children by continuing their education and providing psychosocial support to help them deal with the trauma experienced. We want to support them as they continue this significant relief work.
We can make a difference to the lives of many children and families when you give to this significant initiative. Let’s be in prayer and show love through action for the many being displaced in Ukraine.
For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me.Matthew 25:35 NIV
