The work is in motion.
Amidst the mess and chaos of His workshop, the sculptor works tirelessly. Surrounded by clay, offcuts, and tools, He continues to labour with an idea in mind. A hope, a goal, a dream, a purpose. Each movement represents a moment, moments that form seasons, that will eventually unfold into the overall masterpiece He creates.
God is the sculptor. We are his masterpiece.
We step forward in courage and faith — knowing that as we look around us, we can see the work of His hands; and with His handiwork comes the opportunity for us, Arise Church, to be used by God in the world around us. With the clear purpose of sharing the timeless and powerful message: that Christ is the hope of the world. There is no other way, there is no other truth, there is no other life. We are but earthen vessels carrying the good news of Christ to those around us.
And it is Christ who will carry on this work in us until it is complete.

Areas of Giving
The key areas that giving will go towards this year are aligned with our vision:
Pursue Jesus
We believe that every persons faith and relationship with God needs to be stewarded — both preserved and developed. We want this faith to be grown and strengthened. We reject a shallow Christianity. Our desire is to see a people of God who are alive in their faith, passionate about the word and encountering God in worship — both when we are gathered and throughout our daily lives.
Build His Church
We believe that the Church will grow healthier and stronger. The Church can become a leading voice in our communities, providing pastoral care for those needing it, and be a place of strong and continuous discipleship. The Church brings strong Godly values to society and we see communities becoming healthier because of the Church — particularly the shifting of attitudes from self-focused to a Christ-like focus on others. New Zealand needs strong and healthy churches.
Advance His Kingdom
The Kingdom of God must advance. The Kingdom of God is a new way of living — God's way. It is the Sculptor’s design. We pray, ”God, let Your Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven!” This is about strong discipleship. It is about seeing the Kingdom of God permeate every area of our society. An advancing Kingdom is one that continues from generation to generation, growing in strength. We want to be part of Advancing His Kingdom for the young people of our nation.
Impact Our World
The people of God are called to make a difference, to live for others, and to Impact Our World. At Arise we believe that this is borne out in two ways: equipping the saints and caring for the vulnerable. We impact our world day-to-day when Jesus’ followers are salt and light in their world. Equipped and sent to live out their God-call in every sphere of society. And we impact our world when we take up the Biblical mandate to care for the vulnerable.
One Church in many locations
Arise is one church in many locations around New Zealand, and in every campus of Arise there are great opportunities and great needs.
As we gather for our annual offering, we are believing it will make a difference in every location.
