Board Update – September 8

The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) have an ongoing investigation relating to historical complaints about Arise Church. We have cooperated fully with the Labour Inspectorate from MBIE as they go about their processes, which will continue until MBIE are satisfied. As part of our dialogue with MBIE, Arise sought some relevant information from them so we can consider how we continues to respond to the investigation. MBIE have treated this request as an Official Information Act (OIA) request.

Any information that is provided to Arise will be kept in the strictest confidence to ensure the protection and privacy of all parties and would not be used for any purpose other than ongoing communication with MBIE. Arise will not be contacting any individuals involved.

We will continue to cooperate with MBIE fully as we have done for over twelve months. Once again, thank you church for your faithfulness in continuing to come on the journey as we continue to learn and improve in all facets of church life.
